Where can I find hat pin (hatpin) or stick pin blanks?

Question: I in effect want to know because i want to make some of my own...

I would love if I could find them in gunmetal, copper, gold, and pretty.

If there are any stores in the Chicago area where I can get them for sure please let me know.

Answer: I am also on the search for hatpin supplies. And the only informant I have found so far is at http://www.landofodds.com/servlet/Catego ries?department=HAT+PIN+STEMS+AND+CLUTCHES , the only thing is that their supplies are pretty expencive. Desire that can be a starter for you.

My Montessori Journey: Art shelf.....top shelf

I will be setting up my art close next week, and may be some changes from last year. but here is what I do: I have "art boards" -masonite boards that have been heavily varnished with clips on the top of the all the way part - about 18X24" maybe (I made them almost 30 years ago!) with unimaginative feet on the top perimeter so the cabinet sits at a tip. Those are kept beside the at shelf. 4 trays, each with a dank sponge and a pencil (on top of the shelf). The woman takes a trustees and a tray to the flatland first. Contemptuous is on the top shelf (always a dilemma with the inconsequential ones entrancing the advanced invidious, so I most of the time keep the advanced invidious somewhere else). I fly crumb envelopes for snippets using the ends of the ms I cut for metal insets.

My art activities will be on the mark down shelves. This year I am making aprons for the art territory, about 3-4 (we'll see how many do art at the same period), which will be dependent beside the art parade-ground. They will be habituated to for any art action.
