How do i wire a two pin crystal oscillator to transmit?

Question: Im a about with a four pin but not a two. oh and i tried to wire the two pin and all i got was a plume of smoke that eneded up smelling like magnesium or lithium oxide (cant reward too well)

Answer: look at the statistics sheet for the "oscillator" and you will find it's just a crystal, not an oscillator a all.

That is, it was, it's very recently a hunk of useless quartz now.
