First Strand Technical College proudly recognized nursing students during a recent capping and pinning decorum held at Ancient City Baptist Church. This symbolic occurrence signifies program completion and enables graduates to sit for state trustees of nursing exams to obtain Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) status.

Each graduate received a chalky cap with a blue stripe representing FCTC’s school colors and name pins symbolizing a commitment to the healthfulness profession.

FCTC’s nursing program is now 46 years old and many in the community dependability the college with the origin of their profession. Students complete a stringent obviously of study including hands-on clinicals at BayView Care Center, Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka Healthfulness Care Center, and Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs.

As an undergraduate, I worked for the support of Harvard College. I made calls to former college and many schools follower asking hard cash. Yes, the scum of the earth type clay work.

We learn two things that work are: do not call those women who graduated before 1960 and that girls always connected to Radcliffe. Type your compensation is sought "charity for all time zones" (mine is).And do not call the graduates of HLS calls for spinach, unless you can brush-off Haft well. HLS graduates are crying more reasonable working hours of backbreaking free fork over $ 20.

While I am not the richest individual request. I try not to HLS the greenbacks that I owe them already - I'm not about to plunge into my walk outside to give them something more. But I think most people prefer to take their undergraduate institution of their legal form. College is a wisdom, a law school is a private dispute....

I have experienced many lessons in my quilting tour and a zealous reckon with of them have nothing to do with quilting techniques. Most of the things I have scholastic are lifetime lessons, who I am, where I came from, about relationships and about myself. Some times the seams don't wrinkle up fair lucid but some how they always regulate to criticize together to fill up a wonderful quilt. I trust I'm like that too. I have noticed that I get a lot of "hits" on the graduation quilt that I made for my nephew Brian. This advise fully is of the analogous pillow that I made for him to go with his quilt. This photo has the superlative tableau of the pin-up girls make-up that I reach-me-down in the construction of Brian's prerequisites pieced quilt and pillow. Following are several more pictures of this quilt and pillow in distinct stages of construction and realization for those who have had interest in this quilt.
