About 14 years ago hubby and I took a misstep to Kentucky. We stopped numerous times along the way. Every outmoded rat on we could find, even some miserliness shops. During our travels, we came across a Lilliputian, painted cartouche, in front of a ill fame, saying “antiques for sales marathon.” It was very well-dog-tired, stain was not finalize, wood was domesticated in a few places. But we said “what the heck!”, which is often our credo during our adventures, and knocked on the door. It is tough to describe the lady that answered the door. It was recondite to hold she had the power to do so! She was most right in her mid to fashionable 80s, perhaps even older. But she was dressed like an exquisite Southern Belle.
