Should you be a Marine to get an Eagle Globe Anchor tattoo?
Question: My relative in law was a Marine and he was recently killed. I want to get a memorial tattoo for him and i was intellectual of getting a slightly modified version of an Eagle Globe and Anchor on my shoulder with his name and friend of birth and date of death. Is this disrespectfull
Answer: I would say ask a Seagoing. Seriously. They are so tight and I personally think they would not like this figure altered or used by a non Marine even in memory of one. I really revere your plan to memorialize him and appreciative of your sensitivity over the use of this symbol.
