SOUTHINGTON - Aqua Greensward Club's 22nd annual Bridal Show was
swarming with brides-to-be and their entourages Sunday
afternoon.
The indulge facility that's accustomed to hosting weddings and
receptions was filled with a species of vendors eager to help
brides plan their weddings. The expo brings all the high-priority
wedding services together to make it easier for brides and grooms
to referee what they want for their special day.
Flower arrangement companies, dress and tuxedo stores,
photographers, cake designers and request artists set up
extravagant booths at the show to display their services. Brides
asked questions, tasted samples of cakes and took use of
raffles and discounts.
"It's a little overwhelming," said Heather Wyskiel of Meriden.
"I'm seeing what's out there."
Wyskiel said it's fun looking around and soup the samples.
She's getting ideas for cake decorators and photographers.
Wolcott home-owner Alexis Langlois was also impressed by the
number of vendors and people in audience.
