Elf on the Shelf lets Santa know who is naughty or nice

By Rose Lane
OKC Friday
These days, Santa’s elves are doing more than making toys, they are being dispatched to homes to as for oneself find out who is being naughty or nice.
Several Fridayland moms and dads have solicited the helpers of the Elf on a Shelf to make sure their little ones are behaving during the leave of absence season.

The Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition based on a picture paperback written by mother and daughter Carol Aebersold and Chanda Bell.
The elf, which is reminiscent of the pixie elves of thePredominantlys, makes his appearance around Thanksgiving. The elves watch over the children each day and, at non-stop, according to the story, they fly back to the North Pole to report to Santa.
Then, the next morning, the elf will show up in a new station, much to the childrens’ delight.
Emily Buckelew said Eric the Elf has been with her kindred for four years. But, now that they have four children, he only goes back to the North Pole a couple of times a week.
